“I am pleased that unionized members of the Alberta Public Service (APS) have voted to accept the mediator’s recommendation and ratify a new contract.
“This four-year agreement is the result of many months of dedicated negotiations between Alberta’s government and the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE).
“The agreement balances competitive compensation with long-term stability for both employees and the public service.
“Thank you to the AUPE Government Services Bargaining Committee for its role in resolving this round of bargaining, and to public service employees for their daily contributions to Alberta.”
