“Alberta Health Services (AHS) and the Health Sciences Association of Alberta (HSAA) have reached a negotiated settlement for a new collective agreement.
“This is the result of months of hard work, and I thank the union leadership and Alberta Health Services who have worked tirelessly to get to this point.
“The partnership between the two parties is a testament to the importance of these health care professionals and the services they provide to Albertans, and our health system.
“Out of respect for the union’s process, I am unable to speak to the specifics of the deal, at this time. However, I look forward to the results of the ratification vote.”
