Alberta’s government is committed to working with its national and international partners to advance shared interests that can lead to new opportunities for people and businesses in Alberta and around the world.

To help with this work, Lac Ste. Anne-Parkland MLA Shane Getson and Lethbridge-East MLA Nathan Neudorf will travel to Wichita, Kansas, July 7-13 to meet with lawmakers, industry representatives, academics and other delegates from Council of State Governments (CSG) Midwest jurisdictions and attend the 76th Annual Meeting of the Midwestern Legislative Conference.

CSG Midwest is a regional multilateral forum that brings together lawmakers and government leaders from 11 states: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario and Saskatchewan are affiliate members. Alberta has been an associate member since 2010.
