The new appointments are as follows:

Nathan Neudorf – MLA for Lethbridge-East
Parliamentary secretary to the Minister of Environment and Parks for Water Stewardship

MLA Neudorf will assist Minister Jason Nixon in many initiatives related to water quality and use across the province. He will focus on engaging with stakeholders and the public on ways to protect source water, improve monitoring and reporting, and strengthen stewardship.

Jackie Lovely – MLA for Camrose
Parliamentary secretary to the Associate Minister of Status of Women

MLA Lovely will provide Associate Minister Whitney Issik with advice on ways government can reach out and support elder women on quality-of-life issues like women’s health, housing and aging in place, personal finances, estate planning and other civil legal matters, and life events such as the death of a spouse, divorce or health crisis.

Jeremy Nixon – MLA for Calgary-Klein
Parliamentary secretary to the Minister of Community and Social Services for Civil Society

MLA Nixon will assist Minister Jason Luan and work with Associate Minister Mike Ellis to integrate homeless outreach with mental health services, the addictions recovery strategy, align funding initiatives from three levels of government and prepare recommendations for future pandemic planning.

Dan Williams – MLA for Peace River
Parliamentary secretary to the Minister of Culture and for la Francophonie

MLA Williams will work with Minister Ron Orr to help reach out to Alberta cultural communities, connect with sports and recreation groups, and support Alberta’s Francophone community, enhance French language services and ensure Franco-Albertans are connected to, and involved with, the provincial government.

Searle Turton – MLA for Spruce Grove-Stony Plain
Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Energy

MLA Turton will work closely with Minister Sonya Savage on areas of growth within the energy sector, including mines and minerals, geothermal development and petrochemicals.
