The task force will look at how communities are affected by homelessness. It will also look at developing a model for responding to people with complex needs. Additionally, it will make recommendations that will help create an action plan on homelessness for the province.
“As Alberta begins to recover from the pandemic, how communities deal with homelessness is key to Alberta’s recovery plan. With a measured approach developed by experts and community leaders, Alberta will be able to adapt better to the specific needs of our communities.”
The task force has representation from across Alberta and members have a range of experience and expertise on the issues related to homelessness.
