The 2020-2023 French Policy Action Plan builds on the 2018-2021 plan. It outlines the path for continuing to implement the French policy that was endorsed by the government in 2019. All government departments are moving forward with new and existing initiatives – about 100 in total – that make life better for French-speaking Albertans.

Alberta’s government is committed to developing and publishing an annual multi-year action plan. The three-year plan identifies with whom government will engage in the Francophone community to support its vitality and provide quality programs and services that meet its practical needs.

Le Plan d'action de la Politique en matière de francophonie fait suite au plan de 2018-2021. Il trace la voie à suivre pour poursuivre la mise en œuvre de la Politique en matière de francophonie, qui a été approuvée par le gouvernement en 2019. Tous les ministères vont de l'avant avec des initiatives nouvelles et des initiatives existantes — une centaine au total — qui améliorent la vie de la population albertaine francophone.

Le gouvernement de l'Alberta s'est engagé à élaborer et à publier tous les ans un plan d'action pluriannuel. Le plan triennal identifie avec qui le gouvernement s'engagera au sein de la communauté francophone à soutenir sa vitalité et fournir des programmes et des services de qualité qui répondent à ses besoins concrets.
