Through the Vendor Performance Management (VPM) Program Alberta Infrastructure will better track vendor performance, during and following completion of each contracted project. This program will help deliver quality infrastructure projects that are on time, on budget and within scope.

“I am pleased to have developed our new Vendor Performance Management Program in collaboration with our industry partners. This program offers an avenue for two-way communication that encourages vendors and government to work together to deliver the best possible results for Albertans.”

Prasad Panda, Minister of Infrastructure

By providing vendors with improved informal feedback and new formal evaluations on their performance at regular intervals, the VPM Program will ensure any issues are identified and addressed early, resulting in better project outcomes for Albertans and vendors.

“As a designate from the Alberta Construction Association, I was pleased to participate in developing the new Vendor Performance Management Program. Alberta Infrastructure consulted with the construction industry and incorporated our feedback and revisions into finalizing the program. We look forward to the rollout and implementation.”

Paul Verhesen, partner with Clark Builders, designate of Alberta Construction Association

“Working with Infrastructure on the Vendor Performance Management program has been a positive shift in our industry. We appreciate large public owners seeking feedback from the Consulting Engineers of Alberta. This program will help ensure the best-qualified firms are selected to deliver services. We look forward to the implementation.”

Derek Ciezki, partner with SMP Engineering, representative of Consulting Engineers of Alberta
