Pamela is described by her nominator as “supportive of all the people around her and always giving of her time and talents.” Before the pandemic, Pamela participated in fundraisers to support cancer research and regularly volunteered at Ronald McDonald House to make and serve meals to the families staying there.
She shares these experiences on social media, creating donation and volunteer opportunities, as well as awareness about the charities she is supporting. Since March, Pamela has donated blood at the Canadian Blood Clinic, contributed hundreds of meals to the Canada Food Bank, and has reached out to friends and family consistently to ensure they are all right, offering to help if she is able.
