Location: Calgary, Alberta
Madeahl and Leo Yamyamin have always supported their community and neighbours through acts of service such as shovelling snow for seniors or running errands for people who are taking care of sick family members.
Since the start of COVID-19, Madeahl and Leo have worked tirelessly volunteering with three different organizations. Madeahl and Leo have made deliveries of hygiene kits (gloves, masks and antibacterial wipes) throughout Calgary and neighbouring communities. They have also delivered food hampers with non-perishable goods to families in need and have asked family and friends to donate materials so they can make masks. Madeahl and Leo consistently demonstrate community stewardship through their ongoing volunteerism.
