COVID-19 Updates: Taking steps to return to normal.
Alberta Culture Days
September 1 to 30
- 30 days to discover, experience and celebrate
- virtual and in person, indoors and outdoors
Alberta Culture Days is encouraging community organizations to explore and transform how this celebration is shared with Albertans, either through online or in person events.
Month of the Artist was moved to September to complement this initiative. Alberta Culture Days Celebration Sites will have the opportunity to host their event or activities throughout the month of September.
Alberta Culture Days is an opportunity to discover, experience and celebrate arts and culture through local events and activities, in person and online across the province.
Last year, more than 500 communities from coast to coast participated in National Culture Days to increase awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities.
Nationally, Culture Days will be celebrated from September 23 to October 16.
