Find a participating registry where you can apply for or update your AHCIP health care card information.
You can take your Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan (AHCIP) forms to a participating registry. Not all registries in Alberta provide AHCIP services, only those listed below.
When you go to the participating registry, bring your supporting documents with you.
You can pick up AHCIP forms at the registry, or download the AHCIP forms and complete them before taking them to a registry.
Registries cannot access your personal or medical information. Your personal information is safe.
Processing of applications for Ukrainian evacuees
Due to the large volume of applications, the processing time of applications for Ukrainian evacuees is from 6 to 8 weeks. Processing of these applications is done at the AHCIP office.
