Canada Lamb Processors Ltd. formerly SunGold Specialty Meats Ltd., a subsidiary of North American Lamb Company Ltd. (NALC), is designed to form a truly Canadian integrated lamb supply chain to provide premium lamb products to domestic and international markets with year-round consistent supply and specification.

Operating since 1974, CLP is the largest federally inspected, Halal Certified processor of lamb

in Canada. Registered as Est.136 by CFIA, CLP exports to a variety of international markets and looking to expand.

Our brand SunGold Premium Lamb, is produced in a large variety of enhanced fresh and frozen cuts, and grinds with value added LambTonight options that appeal to both the retail and food service sectors and further processors. The company also offers a full line of offal products.

SunGold lamb is grain-finished for a minimum of 45 days. It has a slightly milder taste and a higher meat to bone ratio which provides exceptional value for either the retail or food service customer. CLP products are packaged with state-of-the-art processing and packaging equipment to maximize product quality and consistency.
