Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The Community of Chateh has updated its wildfire alert.

There is a wildfire 20 km west of Chateh. The fire is currently being held.

Area: This alert remains in effect for everyone in Chateh, and the areas to the west and southwest.

Affected areas (2):

• Mackenzie No. 23
• Hay Lake 209

Action to take:

• If you are in area of Chateh, remain prepared for a possible evacuation
• Fuel your vehicles, gather important documents, medication, and pack some food and water
• Be prepared to be away from home for at least 3 days
• No evacuation is required at this time
• Stay tuned to local media for updates as they become available
