    <description>Alberta Health Services has advised that the Boil Water Advisory for the Hamlet of Springbrook in Red Deer County has been lifted effective as of 4:00 this afternoon on April 21, 2017.

Following the lifting of the Boil Water Advisory, residents and business in the Hamlet of Springbrook should take the following actions as advised by Alberta Health Services and EPCOR prior to resuming normal water handling and consumption:

a. Flush all water-using fixtures for 5 minutes. 

b. Run all cold water faucets and drinking fountains for 5 minutes before using the water.

c. Drain and flush ice-making systems in your refrigerator.
 
d. Run water softeners through a regeneration cycle.

e. Drain and refill hot water heaters set below 45 degrees C (normal setting is 60 degrees C).

f. Drain all cisterns and flush with clean water.

g. Backwash pool filters and change media or water.
