Advancing Futures

Funding and supports are available for youth who have been in care, as they pursue post-secondary studies and prepare for adulthood.

Services and information

  • New, returning and upgrading students can get information about the program, eligibility criteria, and how to apply for funding and support.
  • Professionals can access information to help students apply for Advancing Futures and request a presentation.
  • Students who are conditionally approved by Advancing Futures must complete several tasks to have their funding approved.
  • Students approved by Advancing Futures can find information about their program coordinator, finances, health benefits and other resources.
  • Students who are conditionally approved for the Advancing Futures can access the mandatory online survey and orientation.
  • Invite a program coordinator to speak with your group about Advancing Futures, the support we offer youth in transition, and how to apply.
  • Find all Advancing Futures forms, including applications and supplementary documents.
  • Information and services for Advancing Futures students and their supports.
  • Reach the Advancing Futures team or connect with a program coordinator.
