#ABAgChat is back for another season, taking place every Tuesday from 10 to 11 am, on Alberta Agriculture and Forestry’s Twitter account @AlbertaAg and by following the hashtag #ABAgChat on Twitter.

“I am excited to launch the fall season of #ABAgChat tweeting about the resources and services offered through the Alberta Ag-Info Centre,” says Carmen Andrew, director of extension services at AF.

Based in Stettler, the Ag-Info Centre is the primary link to department programs, resources and information.  Resource agents and specialists in the areas of crops, beef and forage, farm management and horticulture are available to answer inquiries or refer people to the appropriate resource.

#ABAgChat will visit a different theme each week including:

  • Extension services, including farm management, crops as well as beef and forage
  • Food and value added
  • Livestock and crops
  • Environmental stewardship

“#ABAgChat is a great way for Alberta producers to find out more information about programs and resource, and to connect with our staff and others involved with agriculture in our province,” she adds.
