  • Ms. T. Parish filed complaints alleging that officers neglected to charge her landlord for forcibly entering her residence and at other times, entering her residence without permission or written notice. She further alleged that the officers were unprofessional towards her.

Aug. 23, 2017 (9 a.m.)

  • Mr. R. Wadland filed complaints alleging that officers conducted an inadequate investigation regarding threats that were made against him and that the officers failed to return his phone calls.

An independent body established pursuant to the Police Act in 1973, the Alberta Law Enforcement Review Board reviews public complaints about police officer conduct. The board also reviews police officers’ appeals on disciplinary action.
