This release was issued under a previous government.
The new organization will be housed in the Ministry of Treasury Board and Finance, the same way the Public Service Commission is.
As part of this change, Public Affairs Bureau staff will be transferred from Executive Council to Treasury Board and Finance.
The change will have no impact on services or department contacts or on the way news releases, media notices, etc., will be distributed.
There are no layoffs or additional costs to government associated with this change.
