This release was issued under a previous government.

It could be a quick lift to the grocery store or a pleasant afternoon chat that lifts someone’s spirits – we all know people who give significant time and energy to improve the lives of seniors.

For almost two decades, the awards have recognized the volunteers who serve Alberta seniors in so many valuable ways.

“There are many Albertans who make a positive difference in the lives of seniors. I urge you to take the time to nominate a hard-working volunteer to be recognized for their dedication and care given to seniors.”

Lori Sigurdson, Minister of Seniors and Housing
