CERAWeek is an annual conference that brings together energy leaders from across North America and the globe to discuss and collaborate on critical topics of interest to Alberta’s energy strategy.

“Alberta’s Climate Leadership Plan, along with our modernized royalty framework, repositions Alberta as one of the world’s most responsible, forward-looking energy producers. While in Houston, I will make sure the world knows Alberta is serious about attracting new investment, serious about combating climate change, and serious about making sure our energy industry grows and prospers.”

Margaret McCuaig-Boyd, Minister of Energy

McCuaig-Boyd will take part in a variety of bi-lateral meetings, along with participating in a panel discussion on Canadian oil and gas and attending various strategic conference sessions. She will promote the important steps Alberta has taken to reduce emissions, attract new investments, and be a leader in energy development.

The estimated cost for McCuaig-Boyd, one political staff member and one public servant is $22,300.
