Countless child development professionals make a difference in the lives of Alberta’s children every day. Recognizing them acknowledges how their outstanding work has contributed significantly to supporting parents and to the development of Alberta’s children.

You can nominate a child development professional by visiting the Human Services website. Nominations will be open until Oct. 14, 2016.

Eligible nominees must work with children in licensed or approved child-care programs, early-childhood-development programs or Parent Link Centres. They may also work in early childhood services programs that are approved through Alberta Education.

“Every family deserves access to quality services and programs that contribute to a brighter future for their children. The professionals who provide these valued services deserve our appreciation and recognition.”

Irfan Sabir, Minister of Human Services
