The program is supported by the Council of State Governments (CSG) Midwest and is offered to new lawmakers among member jurisdictions. CSG Midwest is a regional forum bringing together legislators and government leaders from 11 states and four Canadian provinces, including Alberta.

“As our government moves ahead to diversify and green the Alberta economy, effective governance results in policies, legislation and programs that help Albertans and Alberta companies thrive. This fellowship offers an important opportunity to learn about policy development and decision-making from experienced legislators in other jurisdictions.”
