As part of ongoing work to reduce and prevent poverty, the Government of Alberta is investing in the Fair Entry program to share the cost of Calgary’s pass.

“Calgary’s Low Income Transit Pass makes it easier for families to get around the city to access jobs, services and the resources they need. We applaud Calgary’s leadership on this initiative and we are proud to partner with the City to reduce poverty and help families make ends meet.”

Irfan Sabir, Minister of Human Services

“Access to public transit is vital for low-income Calgarians so they can get to school, work, and around the community. This investment will help many Calgarians.”
