FISCAL PLANNING AND TRANSPARENCY ACT (section 7) - Declares the extraordinary losses, damages, emergency response costs, evacuation, reception centre costs and recovery costs caused by a wildfire in May, 2016 in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo to be a disaster in accordance with section 7 of the Fiscal Planning and Transparency Act.

EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACT (section 4) – Appoints the Wood Buffalo Ministerial Recovery Task Force, and designates members of Executive Council to the Task Force to advise on matters relating to the wildfire emergency and disaster in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.
