“I have received the report from Mr. Iacobucci, and our government is in the process of reviewing it.
“The former Supreme Court of Canada Justice concluded the previous Ethics Commissioner did not have all of the information relevant to his investigation, and Mr. Iacobucci is recommending the matter be referred to the current Ethics Commissioner to determine if further investigation is warranted.
“The report has been forwarded to the Ethics Commissioner, and I have asked for her advice to determine if a re-investigation by her office is warranted.”
